The Picker Building is an old cotton mill building located alongside the Nashua River among the historic mill yard in Nashua NH. What was once a textile and cotton mill has recently turned into a blossoming creative community for artists, artisans, small business owners and other creative themed companies.

The building was built between 1861 and 1865 as part of the Nashua Manufacturing Co. empire. It gets its name – the Picker Building – from its role in the textile process back in the millyard’s heyday.

Workers in the building picked seeds and debris from cotton bales before the bales were dispatched to other parts of the industrial plant.

We welcome visitors to come visit all the creative talent that is located inside the Picker Building – from Jewelry to Stained Glass to Pottery to Photography – there is much to see and discover.

The Picker Building is located at 99 Factory Street Extension, located behind the Clocktower Apartments complex.
